What is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)?

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a test for foreigners to measure their Japanese proficiency. Every year, more than 500,000 foreigners take this test worldwide.
In fact, as the number of people learning Japanese around the world is increasing, the number of students taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test is increasing every year.

How high is it?

Test levels range from N5 to N1, with N5 being the easiest and N1 being the most difficult.

Where can i take the exam

You can take the exam twice a year in various parts of Japan, and once or twice overseas.
If you are going to take the exam in Japan, you should apply as soon as possible. This is because there is a limit to the number of applicants for this exam.
Otherwise, you may end up receiving it in a different location than where you live.

Be patient and relax

Once you open the textbook, be sure to go through it to the end.
You should avoid opening multiple textbooks at the same time. If you want to try a different textbook, do it after finishing the first opened textbook. This is because different interpretations and teaching methods can be confusing and you will lose the confidence you once gained.
